This hat free crochet pattern is fun and easy to do! Fleece Sue brimmed hat looks great and is a perfect choice for the cold winter months.

Sue's Fleece-Lined Brimmed Hat

Materials:
Size G hook
Son of Redheart (worsted - medium - 4)
1/8 of a woolen fabric of the court to match thread
2 3/4 button "
needle thread
Pins or markers
Sewing needle
Wire to wire match



Instructions:
Top Hat
Ch 5, s to form a ring.

Rnd. 1: Cap. 2 (channel 2 counts as 1 hdc), 11 hdc. in the ring (12 hdc.), ss to top of chain 2 (do not turn).

Round 2: Chapter 2, 1 dc in same st ch 2, 2 sc in eac st around (24 db) Join with sl st to top of ch 2.

Round 3: ch 2, 1 sc in the same point in Chapter 2, hdc in next dc, * 2 dc in next dc, 1 dc in next dc *, repeat from * to * around (36 hdc) ss up to 2 ml.

Round 4: Ch 2, 1 dc in same st ch 2, hdc in next 2 hdc, * 2 dc in next dc, dc in next 2 hdc *, repeat from * to * to end (48hdc ) ss beginning of 2 ml.

Tour 5: Ch 2, 1 dc in same st 2 ml HADC in next 3 dc, * 2 dc in next dc, dc in next 3 hdc *, repeat from * to * around (58 hdc) ss up to 2 ml.
Round 6: ch 2, sc in the same st ch 2, hdc in next 4 hdc, * 2 dc in next dc, dc in next 4 hdc *, repeat from * to * around (72 db). finish. This should be about 6 ½ "across the center.
Body Hat
Chapter 12

Line 1: hdc in third chain from hook and in each ch (10 db), turn. Piece should measure 3 ½ ".
